Sorry for my prolonged disappearance, but I'm back! I had exams last week, and not only did I study like crazy and write my exams, but I took a well deserved break after they finished and didn't bother to update about the billion new premium gachas...

Pico has brought us a sweet update since it's February ♥

It's almost Valentine's Day~ and just like with Halloween and Christmas, Pico sure doesn't disappoint by spreading holiday spirit with decorated areas and plenty of items! ♪

Daily Gacha has been transformed into Valentine Gacha, you can win romantic items including couple sweaters, colored roses and even balloons and chocolate to share with your sweetheart~

LUV Robo has cute pink outfits for both genders, many accessories & some room decor, but I'm super excited about the actions! "Dance with me!" and "I'd love to" actions have returned since Pico prom, and a super cute AG action for blowing kisses~

Premium Gacha Galore & More Item Space

Hey picos~ Sorry I've been falling behind on my updates, I've been busy with school and the totally legal copy of Sims 3 + the expansions I've downloaded recently...

Anyway, I don't know how anyone else feels about the recent updates, but I'm not too impressed with the new gachas. There's just too many being released. I've successfully quit playing premium gacha after one too many bad incidents, but I'd certainly be more than happy to spend my ameba gold on some items I could purchase in shops.

...But enough about me, the new premium gachas include: Journey to the West Gacha & Laboratory Gacha

And in case you're running out of closet/decor space, it has been upgraded to 500 items! Yay... more gacha...

Hmm, I'm noticing something odd with Pico today. I found it a bit weird to see so many Japanese parks full around this time, when there are usually around 3-6 full at this time.

I first thought not much of it other than many many Picos on today, until I started noticing some weird things. Here I am in Japanese park 8, listed above as having 29 Picos...

...Looks pretty dead, doesn't it? Also, sometimes when the room is "full" I have to queue, but when I enter there are only two or three people there! How odd~ I hope Pico fixes this soon.

peach pup: Best. Christmas. Present. Ever. ♥

It's no secret that I've been wanting a pico puppy for a while. But not just any puppy. peach pup.

With the release of the pet quest, I knew it was a sign!! I needed to get myself a peach pup.

...But then there was the re-release of the colorful wigs & colorful cat ears, and there went the 300/400 AG I was saving up for my pup. With no new surveys to complete, I had given up. Hey that rhymes!!

So that's why I was super excited this morning when I logged on to pico to find myself 1000 AG richer!

As expected with the most commercialized holiday of the year, there are even more new items even though Christmas is only a few days away! ♪♪

Help, I've Fallen & I Can't Get Up!

With less than a week to Christmas, I was beginning to lose hope for seeing an ice rink in Pico. But finally, the Xmas Skate Rink has made an appearance!

However, it is a shame to see so many Picos outside the rink, instead of on it! To get onto the rink - as one might expect - you need ice skates! Skates are available from the icy-looking robo for 80 AG or in exchange for a token. I wish that they were available in gummies so that everybody could partake...

As well, there are several limited actions for sale which can only be used on the skating rink.

Coach bi bo tries her best, but Little Darby takes a spill.

"I will trade you a bite of my candy cane for skating lessons. Why are you laughing? Does that mean no??"

Santa is a Fungi

Oh boy, oh boy, a Christmas quest?! When you first log into pico, you'll notice a little invitation in your room! Click on it to read the message. In preparation for Christmas, Mr. Shepherd from the New Zealand Pet Farm needs your help between December 16th -27th!

Notice the quest bubble on the upper left hand side of your screen. Click on Mr. Shepherd to see what he wants.

You'll have to move in closer though, he's old and hard of hearing…

He needs your help to collect mushrooms to feed Santa's reindeer! He will give you a basket, and tells you to go to the Mushroom Forest and talk to Tonny, his grandson to learn how to collect mushrooms. You'll find him in the centre of the Mushroom Forest.

Cats really seem to like bi boy...

He'll explain that you need to click on various objects in the forest like grass and tree stumps in order to find 7 mushrooms. The colourful green, red and blue mushrooms are the ones you are looking for. Black mushrooms are poisonous, and will cause your pico to spaz out for a bit, and then fall on the ground!

Once you find all 7, go back to Mr. Shepherd on the Pet Farm and talk to him. He promises that if you return 4 times, he will give you a reindeer plushie!

EXTRA QUEST:

After handing in the 7 mushrooms, Mr. Shepherd mentions something about a secret forest with legendary golden mushrooms…

Return to the Mushroom Forest and speak to Jonny, Mr. Shepherd's other grandson (NPC in blue). Throughout the Mushroom Forest there are lots of pets wandering around, and according to Johnny, crying very loudly… He promises to reveal 7 secrets about the forest if you are able to tell him the gender of a pet…

Don't tell, but here they all are… Shh! :3

There is a secret room at Grandpa's House. To enter, you must: have a golden mushroom, go to the back door of Grandpa's House and do the hello action.


Secret #2 is a little vague, so here is the spot you need to stand to enter the Secret Forest:

In the secret forest, a disoriented girl recalls that her Grandmother said the golden mushrooms grow near white birch trees, but not just any ol' birch tree - specifically shining white birch stumps. Once you've found a golden mushroom, return to the Pet Farm and talk to Mr. Shepherd.

Mr. Shepherd is super excited and can't wait to eat the golden mushroom, In return, he invites you into his secret room! By using the hello action at the house's side door, you can go inside!

There is a cuter than cute reindeer hoodie and hat available for purchase…

Oh and also…. Mr. Shepherd SANTA IS THERE!

 Although not all value his presence. (Get it, presents?)

And he wants to give you a present in exchange for finding a golden mushroom!! Take your pick!!

Return in 12 hours with another golden mushroom and Santa will give you another present!

EDIT: So far, I've gotten THREE of these Golden Mushroom Chairs and some Christmas cakes... *grumble, grumble*

Note: It is possible to follow other picos into the secret areas by warping to them, but Santa knows who's been naughty or nice… Little Darby followed peach bi boy in without knocking and Santa wasn't too pleased! Oh ho ho! Hope this doesn't mean I'll be getting a lump of coal…
